Build a minimal self-hosted interactive demo system using: React frontend, Node.js + Express API, Postgres, and a simple Chrome extension for recording. In scope: (1) Chrome extension that captures clicks, screenshots, and metadata and posts a JSON recording to the API; (2) API endpoints to create/read demos, store assets, and emit a shareable tokenized link; (3) React player that replays steps with hotspots, text, branching variables, and records viewer events to the API; (4) a small editor to edit step text/images and reorder steps; (5) a basic analytics page showing views and dropoff by step. Out of scope: AI Demo Agent conversational model, voice cloning, multi-language auto-translation, SSO, and sandbox environment orchestration. Include authentication for creators, validation/error handling, unit tests for API routes, and end-to-end tests for recording→playback flow.
