MyFeedIn
A capable developer can build a working replacement for the curated-feed, analytics and simple campaign APIs, but reproducing the polished extension experience, reliable LinkedIn URL resolution and outreach automation reliability at scale is substantial; the full hosted product is only partly replaceable.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All MyFeedIn alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Maintain curated LinkedIn lists, surface a distraction-free feed in the browser, record post/comment metrics, and manage simple outreach campaigns from a web UI.
What it still won’t have
- Polished Chrome extension UX and ongoing cross-browser compatibility fixes
- LinkedIn-specific heuristics and reliability around resolving profile URLs and privacy constraints
- The vendor's hosted convenience (no-ops setup, billing, and extension distribution)
- Lifetime deal option and existing user community/brand
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

What we assumed
The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal MyFeedIn replacement: use a Chrome extension (Manifest V3, React for popup) + Node.js (Express) backend with Postgres. Implement: auth and API key management; endpoints for feeds, people, posts, campaigns matching the documented shapes; a content script that filters LinkedIn feed DOM and adds UI to add profiles to feeds; a background worker (Bull or equivalent) that aggregates post/comment counts into a simple analytics table; a scheduler to run outreach steps that either triggers instructions to the extension (for browser-driven sends) or logs steps for manual execution. Out of scope: multi-account team billing, cross-browser stores (Firefox), advanced ML features. Include error handling, input validation, rate-limit handling, unit tests for API routes, and end-to-end tests for the extension workflow.

- Evidence score63
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
