No-code apps and databases decision
SeaTable Cloud
A small team or skilled engineer can build a useful subset (data grid, Postgres backend, attachments, simple automations) in an open-source stack; full parity (real-time polish, enterprise compliance and integrations) is harder, and SeaTable's EU-hosting compliance is a notable advantage to consider.

Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. What a replacement has to do
- Provide a web-hosted, collaborative spreadsheet-style database with file attachments, basic relational links, simple scheduled/webhook automations, templates, and a minimal no-code app view layer.
What it still won’t have
- Polished WYSIWYG no-code app builder and templates library
- Mature collaborative real-time editing and sync polish
- Enterprise features and EU-hosting compliance guarantees
- Prebuilt integrations and SDKs catalog
- Ongoing product support and managed backups/uptime SLAs
What remains hard
- Compliance and regulation

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal SeaTable-like cloud app using Postgres, Node (Express or FastAPI), React, and S3-compatible storage. Implement: 1) a spreadsheet-style grid UI with basic views (table, gallery, kanban, calendar); 2) relational storage in Postgres with attachments stored in S3; 3) user auth, org/workspace model, and shareable links; 4) an automation runner supporting scheduled (cron) tasks and webhook triggers with a simple rule editor; 5) REST API for all operations and a basic template import/export. Out of scope: real-time collaborative cell-level editing, full template marketplace, enterprise-grade compliance certification, and advanced AI features. Include input validation, error handling, logging, Docker-based deployment, a basic CI test suite (unit + integration), and deployment scripts for a single VPS or small cloud instance.

How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- An open-source build was found+5
- 3 cited sources+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Hard moats found in the evidence-3
- Evidence score61
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
