Build a self-hostable instance of Appsmith using Docker Compose (or Kubernetes) and a Postgres backend. Stack: Node.js backend, React frontend, Postgres for metadata, Docker for deployment, nginx as reverse proxy. In scope: deploy the official appsmith open-source release from https://github.com/appsmithorg/appsmith; configure Postgres, persistent volumes, environment variables, and basic SSO (OAuth via Google); enable Git integration for app versioning; provide scripts to back up and restore app definitions; include health checks, logging, and automated updates via a CI job. Out of scope: reimplementing the Appsmith UI builder, proprietary enterprise add-ons, or managed cloud hosting. Require error handling for DB connectivity and migrations, TLS termination, and automated tests for deployment scripts and basic end-to-end smoke tests.
