Build a minimal single-tenant personal-finance web app using Next.js (React) frontend, Node/Express API, and Postgres database deployed to Vercel/Heroku. In scope: CSV and manual transaction import, transaction schema and category/tag model, simple rules engine for auto-categorization, per-user budgets, monthly spend/net-worth dashboards, basic multi-currency conversion (use a free FX API), developer JSON API endpoints for imports/exports, user auth (email + password, optional 2FA), migrations, error handling, and unit/integration tests. Out of scope: automated bank aggregation (Plaid/Ynab connectors), native mobile apps, crypto exchange integrations, advanced analytics, and paid hosting SLA. Include automated tests, input validation, logging, and scripted DB backups.
