Creator and commerce decision
yew
A competent technical user can build a useful, smaller replacement (storefront + secure downloads + Stripe) in about a week; yew.gg's durable advantages are primarily its community, reputation, and bundled services rather than proprietary technical barriers.

Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- List scripts as purchasable digital products, accept payment, unlock downloadable GPC files after purchase, serve files securely, and provide basic account pages and support access.
What it still won’t have
- Established community and member base ("20,977 members")
- Marketplace reputation and reviews ("4.6 ( 1,162 reviews)")
- Existing Discord support community and integration ("Discord")
- Included services some sellers advertise ("free weekly updates"; "a 1-on-1 setup call included")
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal script-marketplace using Node.js (Express), PostgreSQL, and React (Vite) with S3-compatible object storage and Stripe for payments. In scope: user auth (email+password, session), product admin (CRUD for script listings and file upload with server-side validation), payment checkout (Stripe Checkout) that on successful payment creates a single-use signed download token, signed-download endpoint that validates the token and serves the GPC file from S3, frontend storefront (listing, product page, cart, purchase history), and a simple support contact form. Out of scope: automated weekly updates pipeline, Discord bot integration, and device-specific setup calls. Include JWT/session security, rate-limited signed URLs, server and client input validation, error handling, unit tests for payment and download flows, and an end-to-end test that purchases and downloads a file using test keys.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Build verdict base78
- 4 cited sources+3
- Evidence score81
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
