Design and diagrams decision
Visme
A small team can ship a usable branded-template editor and export flow, but reproducing Visme’s asset scale, analytics, enterprise governance, collaboration polish, and integrated AI at production quality is costly and time-consuming.

Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- Create branded visual projects from templates, edit with a drag-and-drop canvas, and export/share final assets
What it still won’t have
- Massive asset libraries (5M+ photos, 2M+ videos) and premium template catalog
- Built-in advanced analytics and enterprise governance controls
- High-quality integrated AI credits and turnkey AI Designer flows
- Large-scale collaboration, audit logs, SSO and dedicated enterprise support
- Production polish, cross-platform performance optimizations, and longtail UX refinements

Runnable build prompt
Build a self-hosted minimal Visme-style web app using React for the editor, Node.js + Express for the API, Postgres for metadata, and S3-compatible object storage. Implement: 1) a drag-and-drop canvas supporting text, images, shapes and basic animations; 2) a JSON-based template library with an admin UI to create/instantiate templates; 3) brand kit management (colors, fonts, logo) and template locking; 4) file upload, storage, and export endpoints for PNG/PDF and PPTX; 5) user accounts and simple team permissions; 6) adapter hooks to call an external AI image/text API (configurable, disabled by default). Out of scope: large stock media library, enterprise SSO, advanced analytics, multi-user real-time editing. Include error handling, input validation, and automated tests for API endpoints and core editor serialization.

- Evidence score62
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time — so the same evidence always produces the same number.
