Trustoutreach

A competent developer can reproduce a useful leaderboard-and-benchmarks tool using existing open-source projects (see prior art), but the full hosted product value (historical aggregated benchmarks, integrations, and managed service) is not trivial to match.

Open-source builds that already do this

Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All Trustoutreach alternatives, with the arithmetic →

What a replacement has to do

  • Ingest outbound campaign results, normalize metrics, compute benchmarks, display leaderboard and allow CSV import/export.

What it still won’t have

  • Hosted uptime, SLA, and managed backups
  • Existing vendor integrations or paid connector catalog
  • Professional support and onboarding
  • Any proprietary benchmark dataset or historical aggregated results
  • Brand trust and marketplace visibility

What remains hard

  • Product polish and ongoing maintenance

What we assumed

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.

Runnable build prompt

Not run yet
Build a single-tenant web app (Node.js + Express backend, Postgres DB, React frontend) that ingests outbound campaign data via CSV upload and a REST API, normalizes metrics into a campaign_results table, computes benchmark aggregates and leaderboard rankings (SQL materialized views or periodic worker), provides a responsive leaderboard UI with filters (workspace, agency, campaign), supports CSV export and scheduled emailed reports, and includes user auth (email/password) and simple workspace management. Out of scope: multi-tenant billing, analytics beyond leaderboard/benchmarks, advanced visualizations. Include error handling, validation for uploads, unit tests for core services, and deployment scripts for Docker on a single VPS.

How the score was reached

  • Partly verdict base52
  • An open-source build was found+5
  • 3 cited sources+3
  • Evidence score60

The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
