Build a single‑user web diagram and floor‑plan editor using React + TypeScript for frontend, SVG canvas (or Fabric.js) for drawing, Node.js + Express and Postgres for backend, and S3 for file storage. Implement: interactive pan/zoom canvas, drag/drop shape library with snapping and scale, import raster/PDF as background with user-controlled scaling, export to PDF and SVG, and save/load documents with user auth (email or OAuth). Out of scope: real‑time multiuser collaboration, enterprise SSO, trained AI diagram generation, and thousands of prebuilt commercial templates. Include error handling, input validation, and unit/integration tests for core API endpoints and canvas save/load.
