Build a self-hosted community-and-courses web app using: Next.js (React) frontend, Node.js + Express backend, Postgres DB, Redis for background jobs, and AWS S3 for file storage. In scope: user auth (email + password, JWT sessions), roles (student/instructor/admin), course + lesson CRUD with media references, threaded discussions with moderation tools, group membership and gated content, basic full-text search, background worker for notifications and media processing, and an admin dashboard for user and content management. Out of scope: payment processing, advanced analytics, and large-scale video encoding (provide hooks to external services). Include basic error handling, input validation, unit tests for critical routes, and a docker-compose setup for local development and a simple Terraform script for production resources.
