Core features in scope: user sign-up/auth (email + hashed passwords), link bank accounts via Plaid, ingest and normalise transactions into Postgres, auto-categorization rules with manual override, Spending Plan calculation (available-to-spend, rollovers, savings goals), a Retirement Planner that accepts up to 15 inputs and produces year-by-year projections, and a responsive web UI for transaction review, budgets, goals, and retirement scenarios. Out of scope: mobile apps, phone support, multi-entity business accounting, tax-preparation, and advanced fraud/compliance workflows.
