PrizeMap: TCG Puzzles
A competent developer can build a useful web replacement that supports solving, creating and leaderboards, but reproducing the full product experience (mobile apps, community, live tournament features and polish) is heavier and would require more ops and community effort.

No pricing page we fetched carried a figure, so there is nothing to compare against. The build side is still real.

No published price to break even against.
No open-source build does this yet
Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- Solve one-turn puzzles, climb a global leaderboard, and create/share new puzzles
What it still won’t have
- Polish and cross-platform native mobile apps (App Store / Play Store presence)
- Existing active community and live Discord tournament integration
- Operational scale, moderation and content curation workflows
- Brand recognition and built-in user base
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance
First-year cost

PrizeMap: TCG Puzzles does not publish a price we could read, so there is nothing to compare against. What building costs is below.

Runnable build prompt
Build a web-first PWA (React + TypeScript frontend, Node.js + Express backend, Postgres DB, Redis for jobs) that implements: 1) a puzzle renderer for one-turn TCG puzzles (state + actions + hint view), 2) puzzle authoring UI with validation and preview, 3) user accounts (email + OAuth) and shareable puzzle URLs, 4) background scoring jobs to record solves, first-solve and streaks, 5) a global leaderboard and per-puzzle stats, and 6) CI, deployment (Docker on a single VPS or managed container service), and basic observability (error reporting + uptime). Exclude native iOS/Android builds and tournament/Discord bot integration. Include error handling, input validation, authentication tests, and unit tests for core scoring logic.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- 4 cited sources+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score59
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
