Health, home and travel decision
MyHours
A competent developer can realistically implement a minimal replacement (mobile app with local storage and optional WebDAV sync); prior open-source Flutter projects demonstrate the core is reproducible, and no durable moats are evident.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All MyHours alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Open app → mark habits/tasks complete → view stats and streaks → plan routines
What it still won’t have
- Apple iCloud automatic cross‑device sync and Apple-account tied backups
- Polished App Store distribution, in‑store updates, and platform-specific widgets/shortcuts integration
- Any proprietary premium features or lifetime in-app purchase entitlements
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

What we assumed
The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal cross-platform habit & routine planner as a Flutter app (Dart) with a small Rust or Node backend only if you choose hosted sync; otherwise local-first only. In scope: habit CRUD with recurrence, task lists with recurring reminders, routines combining habits/tasks into timed daily blocks, home timeline UI, interactive iOS widgets, statistics (streaks, completion rate, weekly charts), local encrypted storage (SQLite or sembast), optional WebDAV sync endpoint. Out of scope: iCloud integration, App Store in-app purchases handling (implement a local Pro flag instead), multi-account collaboration, and advanced analytics. Deliverables must include error handling, unit and widget tests, CI to build iOS and Android, and a README with build/run instructions.

How the score was reached
- Build verdict base78
- An open-source build was found+5
- 3 cited sources+3
- Price verified on pricing page+3
- Evidence score89
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
