Build a minimal personal-finance web app using Next.js for the frontend, Postgres for storage, Node.js/Express for the API, and Plaid for account connectivity. Implement: (1) Plaid integration to import accounts and transactions into Postgres, (2) a background job to normalize and categorize transactions (simple rule engine plus a small ML classifier or calls to an external ML API), (3) recurring transaction detection and a subscriptions calendar view, (4) net worth and spending reports (category totals and a Sankey-style chart), (5) a basic responsive web UI to review/flag transactions and edit categories, (6) CSV export and a simple budget-goal tracker. Out of scope: mobile native apps, building a proprietary aggregator of 13,000 institutions, advisor/professional directory, and payment flows. Include error handling for failed bank syncs, retries, and rate limits; add unit and integration tests for API endpoints, background jobs, and the categorization pipeline; provide a README with setup and a docker-compose dev environment.
