SEO and marketing decision
Lumar
A useful single-domain SEO crawler + reporting tool is realistic for a small team to build and run, but Lumar’s durable advantages (enterprise-grade crawler scale and SOC2/compliance plus broad GEO/product integrations) make a full replacement impractical for a small team.

Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- Crawl a website, detect SEO/site-speed/accessibility issues, store results, and show prioritized remediation recommendations and alerts.
What it still won’t have
- enterprise-scale crawling performance and scalability
- SOC 2 Type 2 compliance
- prebuilt GEO/AEO (AI Search) metrics and AI-powered GEO suggestions
- built-in integrations, dashboards, and professional services/SLAs
What remains hard
- Infrastructure at scale
Our Website Crawler Ultra-fast & flexible site crawling technology, built for enterprise-scale websites.
- Compliance and regulation
SOC 2 Type 2: Our commitment to data security & privacy

Runnable build prompt
Build a single-domain website optimization tool using: Node.js + Express backend, Postgres, Puppeteer for crawling & screenshots, Lighthouse (via chrome-headless) for performance and accessibility audits, and a React admin UI. In scope: (1) crawler that queues and fetches pages, records HTTP metadata and HTML; (2) run Lighthouse on fetched pages and store results; (3) rule-based detectors for technical SEO, accessibility, and basic GEO-related heuristics; (4) UI pages for health score, per-URL details, issue lists, CSV export, and simple alerting (email/webhook) for threshold breaches; (5) scheduler for periodic recrawls and diffs; (6) error handling, retries, rate-limiting, and tests (unit + integration). Out of scope: multi-domain enterprise scaling, SOC2 audit, advanced GEO AI models, managed professional services, and multi-tenant billing. Include automated tests and basic deployment instructions (Docker Compose) and monitoring (Prometheus/Health endpoints).

How the score was reached

- Hard moats found in the evidence-6
- Evidence score17
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time — so the same evidence always produces the same number.
