Design and diagrams decision
Inertiathemes
Use the existing open-source repo and docs—stand up the package in your Laravel/Inertia app rather than reimplementing; it's a small, one-developer integration task.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All Inertiathemes alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Author PHP Theme classes and Block schemas, create frontend block components (Vue/React/Svelte), render blocks with <Blocks /> in Inertia pages, switch themes per user/tenant.
What it still won’t have
- Commercial support and SLAs
- Hosted management UI or paid integrations (none provided by upstream)
- Any premium features a paid vendor might offer (themes marketplace, onboarding)
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance
First-year cost
No published price
Inertiathemes does not publish a price we could read, so there is nothing to compare against. What building costs is below.

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a runnable Laravel + Inertia app wired with the InertiaThemes package from GitHub using PHP 8.2, Laravel 10, Node 18, and Vite. Scope: install composer inertiathemes/inertiathemes, publish the Vue (or React/Svelte) assets, create DefaultTheme.php and a HeroBlock.php, add a resources/js/Blocks/Default/HeroBlock.vue component, implement a PageController that returns Inertia::render with InertiaThemes::renderBlocks($page->blocks) and currentTheme(), add routes and a simple Blade/inertia view that mounts the app and renders <Blocks />. Out of scope: building a drag-and-drop admin UI, multi-tenant billing, or marketplace. Require: error handling for missing components, basic PHP/Pest or PHPUnit tests for theme/block registration, and a README with install and usage instructions.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Self-host verdict base92
- 2 cited sources+1
- 1/1 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score97
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
