Build a self-hosted MCP server using Node.js and Docker by deploying the official getxapi-mcp repository. In scope: run the provided MCP server container, configure environment variables (GETXAPI_KEY placeholder), expose an HTTPS endpoint for MCP clients, set up a systemd (or Docker Compose) service, configure webhook delivery with HMAC-SHA256 verification and exponential backoff retries, and implement basic logging and health checks. Out of scope: reimplementing proprietary hosted billing, dedicated proxy infrastructure, or managed SLA. Include error handling for network failures, signature verification, and tests for webhook delivery and endpoint proxying.
