Freedive and Apnea Training App
A capable technical user can build a useful replacement (guided audio workouts, basic personalization, test capture) in about a week and run it for low monthly cost; the vendor's durable moats are not evident from the supplied pages so keeping a paid product is not strictly necessary.

Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- User starts a guided audio/video breathing workout → app runs timers and prompts → app records test/workout results → results update the user's personalized training plan → user books or messages an instructor (optional).
What it still won’t have
- Polish of a production mobile app distributed through stores (install/signing, app-review fixes)
- Built-in marketplace of vetted instructors and payments flow
- Refined UX and analytics collected from a live userbase
- Any proprietary data or brand trust accumulated by the vendor
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance
First-year cost
No published price
Freedive and Apnea Training App does not publish a price we could read, so there is nothing to compare against. What building costs is below.

Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal Freedive & Apnea Training mobile app using React Native for iOS/Android, Node.js + Express backend, PostgreSQL (or Supabase) for data, and S3-compatible storage for audio/video. Core features in scope: user auth and profile, guided workout player with timed audio sequences and background timers, breath-hold test UI that records durations, a small training-plan engine that chooses the next workout from configurable templates, and a simple coach contact/booking form. Out of scope: payment processing and a public instructor marketplace, advanced analytics dashboards, and native store-publishing automation. Include input validation, retry/error handling for network and media playback failures, and automated tests (unit tests for backend logic and basic UI tests). Provide Dockerfile(s) and deployment instructions for a cloud container service.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Build verdict base78
- 4 cited sources+3
- Evidence score81
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
