Design and diagrams decision
Frameblox
A competent technical user can build a smaller self-hosted replacement (storefront + component files + basic Framer plugin) in about a week, but reproducing Frameblox's breadth (1400+ components, daily new items, established plugin distribution and lifetime updates) is impractical for one person.

Not priced
No pricing page we fetched carried a figure, so there is nothing to compare against. The build side is still real.
$100one-off40 h to build
$5/mo3 h/mo upkeep
No published price to break even against.
No open-source build does this yet
Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- Provide a searchable library of Framer-ready components and a simple plugin to insert them into a Framer project.
What it still won’t have
- The existing 1400+ prebuilt components, pages and daily new components (quantity and breadth).
- Official Frameblox Framer plugin distribution and any plugin-specific automation.
- Lifetime access and free future updates included by Frameblox's one-time purchase offer.
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance
First-year cost
No published price
Frameblox does not publish a price we could read, so there is nothing to compare against. What building costs is below.

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal self-hosted Frameblox replacement: stack: Next.js + React for storefront/admin, PostgreSQL (or SQLite) for metadata, S3-compatible storage for Framer files, and an Electron/JavaScript Framer plugin scaffold that uses the Framer plugin API to insert components. In scope: author/upload Framer component files with metadata and thumbnails, searchable public storefront, license checkout (Stripe) that issues a download link, plugin that downloads and imports a component into an open Framer doc, and an admin UI to add/update components. Out of scope: matching the full 1400+ component library and automated daily component generation. Include error handling, unit/integration tests for upload/download flows, and CI deploy scripts.

How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52

- Price verified on pricing page+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score62
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
