CRM and sales decision

BrandWell

Build a narrow replacement (ingest a third‑party intent feed, enrich and score leads, and sync to CRM/ads) if you only need core routing and dashboards; keep paying for BrandWell if you require their claimed scale, topic coverage, continuous enrichment, or AIMEE automation.

Open-source builds that already do this

Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need — the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship.

What a replacement has to do

  • Ingest intent signals (third‑party intent feed + site events), match/enrich signals to person/company records, score and qualify leads by intent/fit, route qualified records to CRM/ads/exports and surface them in a dashboard.

What it still won’t have

  • Access to BrandWell's claimed proprietary-scale intent graph (5B visits/day)
  • Prebuilt 35,000+ mapped intent topics and continuously updated coverage
  • Out-of-the-box AIMEE AI marketing engine and RankWell content tooling
  • Enterprise integrations, onboarding, and custom setup services

What remains hard

  • Proprietary dataThrough our data partners tracking over 5 billion visits per day, we show you who clicks on your ads, who clicks on your organic results, and who's coming from social media — complete with full profiles and contact data, whether they fill o

Build an intent-led GTM microservice stack (Node.js + Express + Postgres + Redis, React dashboard). Scope: (1) ingest an external intent-feed API and normalize events; (2) capture site events via a small JS snippet and store them; (3) perform identity resolution by matching IP/UA/email hashes to enrichment API results; (4) enrich records via a paid enrichment API (e.g., Clearbit-style) and store person/company profiles; (5) implement rule-based intent+fit scoring producing COVID-style 'qualified lead' flags; (6) sync qualified leads to HubSpot via their API and push audiences to Google/Meta via their APIs; (7) provide a React dashboard to search topics, view scored leads, and trigger exports. Out of scope: training proprietary intent models from raw web traffic, building a 35k-topic taxonomy, real-time 5B-visit scale ingestion. Include error handling, retries, observability (basic logs + Sentry), and tests (unit tests for scoring and integration tests for API syncs).

How the score was reached

  • Pay verdict base20
  • An open-source build was found+5
  • 4 cited sources+3
  • Hard moats found in the evidence-6
  • Evidence score22

The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time — so the same evidence always produces the same number.
