AppitStudio Apps Bundle And Services
A single ExtraBar/ExtraDock-style macOS app is feasible for one technical person to build and maintain in ~40 hours, but reproducing the full commercial bundle (three polished apps, multi-license sales, widget catalog) is larger and less practical without the vendor's assets and polish.

Not priced
No pricing page we fetched carried a figure, so there is nothing to compare against. The build side is still real.

No published price to break even against.
No open-source build does this yet
Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.
What a replacement has to do
- A smallest useful replacement implements a single macOS menu-bar / dock-extension app that provides: customizable menu-bar actions and deep links, multiple detachable docks with widgets, and preset workspace switching.
What it still won’t have
- Polish and refined UX across three coordinated apps
- Prebuilt collection of widgets and bundles of presets
- Commercial cross-device/team licensing, support and bundle pricing
- Notarization/testing across many macOS versions and edge-case integrations
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

Runnable build prompt
Build a single macOS app (Swift + SwiftUI) that implements an ExtraBar-style menu-bar launcher and a single detachable ExtraDock window. Scope: menu-bar app with keyboard navigation, configurable actions (open app/file/URL, deep link, run shell script, trigger Apple Shortcut), persistent local settings (Core Data or JSON), hotkeys and preset switching, a simple dock window that can be positioned/auto-hidden and hosts three simple widgets (clock, IP, file list), app signing/notarization and Sparkle auto-update, error handling and unit/UI tests. Out of scope: multi-device licensing server, team billing UI, a catalog of dozens of prebuilt widgets, and extensive localization. Provide CI that builds and signs the app and basic end-to-end tests for action execution.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- 3 cited sources+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score59
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
