Design and diagrams decision

AiCasaDesign.com

A capable developer can recreate core staging and video features using open-source diffusers and the listed SDKs, but building a production-grade service (robust 2D→3D, scale, polish, and customers) is multi-week and loses the vendor's brand, SLA, and scaling work—reasonable to build a narrow replacement but not a full drop-in clone.

Open-source builds that already do this

Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All AiCasaDesign.com alternatives, with the arithmetic →

What a replacement has to do

  • User uploads property photos or a 2D floor plan → run AI image staging / generate cinematic video / convert floor plan to 3D → return staged images, video, and 3D renders for download.

What it still won’t have

  • Polished UX and marketing polish of a mature SaaS
  • Scale and performance optimizations for many concurrent users
  • Proprietary trained models / any vendor-curated datasets
  • Existing customer base, SLAs, and commercial integrations

What remains hard

  • Brand trustTrusted by thousands of agents worldwide.

Runnable build prompt

Build a minimal AI virtual-staging and property-video service using: React frontend, Node.js/Express backend, Postgres for metadata, S3-compatible storage, and server-side PyTorch inference using Hugging Face Diffusers (or call a hosted inference API). Core features in scope: photo upload flow, masked diffusion-based staging for single-room photos, assemble staged frames into an MP4 with simple pan/zoom transitions, basic 2D-floorplan parser that extrudes walls into simple 3D meshes and produces rendered images (Blender CLI or headless Three.js), asset delivery (download links, thumbnails). Out of scope: multi-user billing plans, team collaboration, marketplace integrations, mobile apps, advanced photogrammetry. Include error handling, retry for model inference, input validation, end-to-end tests for upload→staging→download, and deployment scripts for one GPU-enabled container and one small Postgres instance.

How the score was reached

  • Partly verdict base52
  • An open-source build was found+5
  • 4 cited sources+3
  • Price verified on pricing page+3
  • 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
  • Evidence score67

The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
