- Native in-app automatic wallpaper updating that the App Store app integrates with iOS (reliant on Shortcuts/workarounds)
- Polish of an iOS-native UX (animations, localized in-app flows, in-app purchases/subscription handling)
- Built-in translations and right-to-left language polish the app advertises
- Features baked into the app (gentle morning check-ins, trial protection reminders, scheduled wallpaper changes) without additional client-side automation
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches NoteWall-Never Forget Things, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
