FlightyFlow alternatives

1 open-source project that already does this job. Free to use - not free to run, which is what the numbers on the right are for.

The projects

johanohly/AirTrail1,459GPL-3.0A modern personal flight tracking system that tracks flights and visualizes status and history.Open on GitHub

What you give up either way

Polished native iOS UI/animations and App Store polish
Built-in subscription handling and App Store in-app purchases flow
Priority support and curated content
Any proprietary historical data or backend optimizations not documented on the App Store page
Apple Live Activities lock-screen integration (would require native iOS work)

An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches FlightyFlow, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
