What you give up either way
- Curated, continuously updated prompts and new systems pushed by the vendor
- Founder-curated guides, translations and Notion workspace included in paid tiers
- Built-in 'Prompt of the Day' email and community touchpoints
- Warranty/refund handling and hosted checkout UX refinements
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches Don Prompt, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
