Analytics and monitoring decision
Trendpilot
A competent developer can reproduce core analytics, dashboard, and alerts, but cannot easily replace Trendpilot’s proprietary Dropi data, polished ML-backed image features, and the vendor’s user base/support—so building a narrow self-hosted equivalent is realistic but not a full replacement.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All Trendpilot alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Ingest Dropi product feeds (scrape or API) → store normalized product + sales events → compute trend/score metrics and alerts → provide searchable/filterable web dashboard with favorites → simple AI query endpoint over the stored analytics.
What it still won’t have
- Direct licensed access to Dropi’s proprietary data feed and any exclusive integrations
- The vendor’s cleaned/historical dataset and product labeling
- Polished UI/UX and existing user trust and support
- Built-in image-enhancement tuned for ecommerce creatives (unless separately implemented)
What remains hard
- Proprietary data
Nuestro asistente tiene acceso a todos los datos de Dropi en tiempo real.
- Brand trust

Runnable build prompt
Build a self-hosted TrendPilot-lite: use FastAPI (Python) for backend, Postgres for storage, Redis + Celery for workers, React + Tailwind for frontend, and Docker for deployment. Core features in scope: (1) a Dropi ingestion worker (scraper or API client) that normalizes products, prices, inventory, and sales events; (2) Postgres schema and nightly aggregation jobs that compute trending score, ROI estimate, and category demand; (3) REST endpoints for search, filters, favorites, and an activity stream; (4) a React dashboard with product list, filters, per-product detail, and favorites; (5) a worker-driven alerts system that sends email notifications via an SMTP provider. Out of scope: image enhancement/model training, advanced AI conversational assistant, and multi-tenant billing. Provide error handling, retries for ingestion, unit tests for core backend logic, Docker compose for local dev, and CI job that runs tests.

- Partly verdict base52

- Evidence score61
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
