Rocking Dashboards
A capable technical user can build and maintain a lightweight replacement (one-week effort) using open-source visualization tools and market/blockchain APIs; there are no durable moats evident on the product page to prevent replacement.

Not priced
No pricing page we fetched carried a figure, so there is nothing to compare against. The build side is still real.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All Rocking Dashboards alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Fetch market & on-chain data, compute NAV/mNAV/staking metrics, cache results, render interactive charts and leaderboards, authenticate users for suggestions/points.
What it still won’t have
- Polished UX/visual polish and multi-dashboard product polish
- Third-party data agreements and enterprise SLAs
- Scale-tested ingestion and high-availability hosting
- Ongoing product support, community features, and continuity of curated metrics
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance
First-year cost

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a single-tenant dashboard web app (Node.js + Express backend, Postgres, Redis cache, React + TypeScript frontend, Chart.js or Apache ECharts for charts) that: 1) ingests real-time and historical stock prices from a market data API with rate-limit handling; 2) queries on-chain ETH balances and staking status for configured treasury addresses via an Ethereum RPC provider; 3) computes derived metrics (NAV, mNAV, ETH per share, staking yield) and caches results with a scheduled worker (every 10s during market hours, longer off-hours); 4) serves interactive time-series charts, CSV export, a simple leaderboard and a suggestions form requiring sign-in; out of scope: multi-tenant billing, advanced access controls, enterprise scaling. Include error handling, retries for external APIs, health endpoints, Docker deployment config, unit tests for calculation logic, and an integration test that runs the data pipeline end-to-end.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Build verdict base78
- An open-source build was found+5
- 3 cited sources+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score90
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
