Automation and integrations decision
PostPeer
A small, narrow unified posting API for a few platforms is realistic to build and maintain by a competent developer, but reproducing PostPeer's full platform coverage, ongoing platform approvals, and production-hardened delivery at scale is costly and operationally heavy.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All PostPeer alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Receive a POST containing content + target accounts, translate to platform-specific API calls, upload media if present, schedule or deliver immediately, record per-platform status, and emit webhooks for status updates.
What it still won’t have
- Breadth of platform coverage and ongoing platform-specific bug fixes
- Operational handling of platform billing quirks (e.g. X request URL surcharges)
- White-label developer app creation and platform review handling
- High-availability delivery infrastructure and SLA-backed throughput
- Polish of official SDKs and agent skills
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal self-hosted unified social-posting API in Node.js (Express) + PostgreSQL + BullMQ for jobs, deploy to a single small cloud VM (e.g. DigitalOcean) with S3-compatible object storage. Core features in scope: 1) OAuth connect endpoints for X, Instagram, LinkedIn (store tokens encrypted); 2) POST /v1/posts that accepts content, platforms, account IDs, optional media upload, and scheduledFor; 3) Delivery worker that maps requests to each platform's official API/SDK for posting and media uploads, with retries and backoff; 4) Scheduler that enqueues and triggers scheduled posts; 5) Webhook endpoint to emit delivery status to callers; 6) Basic analytics fetcher (likes/shares) per-platform; 7) Tests (unit + integration mocks) and error handling for token expiry, rate limits, and failed posts. Out of scope: full coverage of every social platform, paid multi-tenant billing, and white-label App Store/Platform review support.

- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score67
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
