Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. What a replacement has to do
- Accept feedback via REST API, aggregate app store reviews, translate and analyze sentiment, surface items in a dashboard, generate AI replies
What it still won’t have
- Hosted, maintained service and uptime guarantees
- Brand trust, aggregated customer base and testimonials
- Any proprietary integrations or built-in refunds/merchant handling
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

What we assumed
The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a self-hosted MobileFeedback replacement using Node.js (Express) + Postgres, React + Tailwind for the dashboard, and GitHub Actions for CI. In scope: REST API to accept feedback and feature requests, Postgres schema and migrations, a React SPA showing feedback list, filters, translations and sentiment, a scheduled worker to import App Store & Google Play reviews, integration with a translation API and an LLM (OpenAI-compatible) to produce reply drafts, auth for one admin user, basic tests and error handling, and Docker deployment manifests. Out of scope: multi-tenant billing, advanced analytics dashboards, phone support. Provide logging, retries for external APIs, unit tests for API routes, and end-to-end tests for the dashboard flows.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- An open-source build was found+5
- 4 cited sources+3
- Price verified on pricing page+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score67
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
