Core features in scope: user auth (email+password), persistent 1:1 and group chat (message CRUD, history), WebRTC-based meetings backed by an open-source SFU (deploy Janus or Jitsi), meeting scheduling with simple invites, file upload to S3 and shareable links, WebSocket presence/notifications, and basic admin metrics. Out of scope: enterprise SSO (Azure AD), advanced compliance/auditing, large-scale geo replication, and Microsoft 365/Copilot integrations. Include error handling, retries for uploads, unit tests for API endpoints, and deployment scripts (Docker Compose and optional Kubernetes manifests).
