HypeProxies
A competent developer can build a working small proxy pool and management API in about a week, but they cannot reproduce HypeProxies' ISP/residential IP network, high-throughput infrastructure, or enterprise SLAs—so a limited self-hosted replacement is realistic but not a full substitute.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All HypeProxies alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Provide a small self-hosted proxy pool and management API that issues IP:port credentials, routes requests, rotates upstream endpoints, and exposes basic monitoring and a dashboard.
What it still won’t have
- Access to HypeProxies' large ISP/residential IP network (500K+ ISP IPs and 60B+ requests/mo)
- Carrier-grade infrastructure (10Gbps servers, 99.9% SLA) and redundant global footprint
- 24/7 multilingual support and enterprise SLAs
- Proven unbanned/static residential IPs tested on major sneaker sites
What remains hard

What we assumed
The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal self-hosted proxy-pool service using Docker, Go (Gin) for API, and 3proxy as the proxy engine. Core features in scope: (1) provision and run multiple 3proxy instances (or one instance with multiple ports) bound to configurable upstream endpoints, (2) REST API to create/delete credentials and return IP:port:user:pass, (3) simple React dashboard to list proxies, show basic metrics (request count, error rate, latency), and copy credentials, (4) rotation logic to cycle upstream endpoints per request or session, (5) logging to file and Prometheus-compatible metrics with Grafana dashboard, (6) unit tests for API handlers and integration test that verifies authentication and rotation. Out of scope: building or sourcing residential ISP IPs, billing/checkout, carrier-grade load balancing, and multi-region SLA. Include error handling, retries for upstream failures, and CI test coverage for core API paths.

The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
