Build a self-hosted minimal Homebase-like service using Node.js + Express for the backend, Postgres for storage, and React for a lightweight web UI. Implement: (1) CRUD for locations, teams, employees and availability; (2) shift scheduling UI and APIs to assign/modify shifts; (3) clock-in/out endpoints that record timestamps, device id, optional photo, and basic geofence validation; (4) timesheet aggregator that computes hours, breaks, and overtime per pay period and exports CSV; (5) simple payroll export (CSV) generator and admin page to trigger exports; (6) email/web-push notifications for schedule changes. Out of scope: tax filing, ACH payroll processing, background checks, multi-year retention, and HR advisor support.
