Automation and integrations decision
Heron Copier
A capable developer can build a narrow trade-copier for a couple of platforms, but reproducing the full cloud product (many platform connectors, instant provisioning, hosted dashboard and journal, and vendor support) is a multi-week effort with ongoing maintenance—so keep paying for the full product unless you only need a minimal custom copier.

Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need — the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship.
What a replacement has to do
- Receive trade events from a master account, translate/map symbols/lot sizes, forward execution messages to slave accounts, and show realtime status in a dashboard.
What it still won’t have
- Hosted company/brand trust and official registration
- Access to their trading journal and integrated dashboard features maintained by vendor
- Built-in Discord support community and vendor support
- Polish around instant cloud provisioning and prebuilt platform connectors
- Secure subscription checkout and billing integration
What remains hard
- Brand trust
Heron Copier is registered as a company so you can be sure that it's a legit product

Keep paying
Paying is—cheaper in year one.
On cash alone, building overtakes the subscription at 1 seat.

What we assumed
The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a cloud trade-copier service using Node.js (or Python), Postgres, Redis, and a React dashboard. In scope: connectors for one master and one slave account for MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) and a generic TCP/socket adapter; symbol mapping, six volume-sizing modes, SL/TP offset, reverse mode, killswitch, account connection map, realtime dashboard via WebSockets, license check, and Stripe subscription integration. Out of scope: local/VPS-only installer, integrations with every supported platform, trading journal analytics, and formal company registration. Include retry/ack semantics for message delivery, input validation, error handling, unit and integration tests, Docker deployment manifests, and a simple system for adding more platform adapters.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- An open-source build was found+5
- 3 cited sources+3
- Price verified on pricing page+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score67
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time — so the same evidence always produces the same number.
