Build a minimal Gaia GPS-style app using React Native (Expo), a Node.js + Express backend with Postgres, and a vector-tile server (TileServer GL or self-hosted vector tiles). In scope: interactive map view, user GPS tracking and GPX export/import, offline tile pack download and local lookup, simple route/trail list with search, user authentication, and sync of saved routes to Postgres. Out of scope: payment processing, multi-tier subscriptions, curated trail catalog ingestion, community forums, advanced terrain analysis. Include error handling, retries for downloads, and unit/integration tests for GPS recording, GPX import/export, offline lookup, and API endpoints.
