What a replacement has to do
- Authenticate trainers and clients; store and query client profiles, workouts, nutrition plans and progress in a database; authoring UI to build reusable workout & meal templates and schedule them to clients; host and stream exercise video/audio assets; accept payments and manage subscriptions; in-app notifications and 1:1/group chat.

Build a self-hosted trainer-client SaaS using: Next.js (React) frontend, Node.js + Express or Fastify backend, PostgreSQL, AWS S3 + CloudFront for media, Stripe for payments, Firebase Cloud Messaging (or simple WebSocket service) for notifications, and Supabase Auth (or Auth0) for authentication. In scope: trainer and client accounts; branded app settings (name/logo/colors) for trainer; workout & meal plan authoring and templating; client progress tracking, food log, habit tracking; media upload and streaming; one-off and recurring payments; basic 1:1 and group chat; push/in-app notifications; unit and integration tests for APIs and key UI flows; error handling and input validation; Dockerized deployments and simple CI.
