Contraceptive Ring Reminder +

A single skilled developer can build a minimal ring‑reminder app and widget, but reproducing the full App Store product (polish, Store presence, active user base, and paid subscription flows with reliability) is multi‑week and nontrivial; a narrow replacement (local reminders + calendar) is realistic.

No pricing page we fetched carried a figure, so there is nothing to compare against. The build side is still real.

No published price to break even against.

No open-source build does this yet

Nothing published replaces this one, so a replacement starts from an empty file. Here is what it would have to cover.

What a replacement has to do

  • User sets ring-in duration → app schedules local reminders → user marks insert/remove in calendar → app shows cycle overview and countdown → optional iCloud backup of user data

What it still won’t have

  • App Store listing history, ratings and reviews
  • Established user base and brand trust
  • Polished design and bug‑fix release cadence shown in version history
  • Developer support channel (support@cauim.co) and active updates

What remains hard

  • Product polish and ongoing maintenance

Runnable build prompt

Not run yet
Build an iOS app (Swift + SwiftUI) that schedules local reminders for contraceptive ring insert/remove events, includes a calendar view with per-day notes and CRUD for events, a small widget showing next action/countdown, local data persisted in Core Data with optional iCloud sync, and StoreKit-based subscription to remove ads and unlock advanced notification settings. Out of scope: server backend (keep data iCloud-only), analytics and ads mediation. Deliver: unit tests for scheduling and data model, error handling for iCloud sync failures, and CI job to build app and widget.

How the score was reached

  • Partly verdict base52
  • 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
  • Evidence score56

The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
