Analytics and monitoring decision
Apifyhub
A capable developer can reproduce the discovery/leaderboard and basic private analytics features in a few weeks using existing crawling libraries, but the full product experience (error-tracking, production polish, coverage and trust of public estimates) requires more engineering and ops, so keep paying for the complete product unless a narrow subset suffices.

Open-source builds that already do this
Every project below is open source and already does this job today. Fork one, self-host it, or take the parts you need - the build prompt further down assumes an empty file, and this is the shortcut past that. Licences differ; check the one on each card before you ship. All Apifyhub alternatives, with the arithmetic →
What a replacement has to do
- Crawl public Apify store metadata and run counts → aggregate and compute per-actor revenue estimates → surface leaderboard and category/keyword discovery → ingest SDK events into private analytics dashboard → export and alerting for trends
What it still won’t have
- Polished, production-grade UI and cross-feature polish
- Robust historical exports, saved benchmarks, and creator alerts at scale
- Built-in error tracking ('Sentinel') with stack-frame grouping and source context
- Accuracy and coverage guarantees of the public leaderboard (continuous data quality effort)
- Marketing, brand, and user community around the product
What remains hard
- Product polish and ongoing maintenance

The verdict above measures whether you could build it. This one is only about money.
Runnable build prompt
Build a minimal Apify Hub replacement: use Node.js + Crawlee for crawling, Postgres for storage, Next.js for UI, and a small Express ingestion API for a client SDK. Core in-scope: scheduled scraping of the public Apify store into Postgres, revenue-estimation job (apply pricing models and 80/20 split), a leaderboard and actor detail pages, a lightweight SDK + ingestion endpoint to store private run events, CSV export and a simple alert job for accelerating actors. Out of scope: full error-tracking with source-context grouping, multi-tenant billing, advanced historical backfills, and a polished marketing site. Include input validation, retry/error handling on jobs, basic auth for the private dashboard, unit tests for core business logic, and Docker deployment + a README with deploy steps.
How we checked
How the score was reached
- Partly verdict base52
- An open-source build was found+5
- 5 cited sources+3
- 3/3 assessment runs agreed+4
- Evidence score64
The base comes from the verdict. Everything under it is a check that either happened or did not, and each one is a fact frozen in this record rather than a judgement made at render time - so the same evidence always produces the same number.
