Build a web-first grocery/recipe app using React (TS) frontend, Node/Express backend, and Postgres. Implement: email/password auth, per-user lists and recipes, list item CRUD with categories and photos (store images on S3), a server-side recipe web-import endpoint that fetches a URL and extracts title, ingredients, and instructions, a meal-planning calendar UI that stores plans and can generate a grocery list from selected recipes, and real-time list sync via websockets. Out of scope: native iOS/macOS apps, Siri/Alexa integration, payment/subscription billing. Include input validation, error handling, unit tests for backend logic, and end-to-end tests for core flows. Provide Docker Compose for local dev and a deployment script for a single cloud VM.
