Build a minimal web-hosted PDF editor using React + PDF.js, Node.js + Express backend, and S3-compatible storage. In scope: PDF upload/download, page rendering, page navigation, add/save annotations (highlighter, freehand, text sticky notes), export a modified PDF file, generate expiring share links, user authentication (email/password). Out of scope: advanced native desktop app, full e-signature legal audit trail, complex PDF structure repairs, bundled Adobe services. Include error handling, input validation, and unit/integration tests for upload, save, and export flows.
