What you give up either way
- Polish and edge-case handling for the variety of iPad aspect ratios
- Built-in licensed music library and curated presets
- Commercial-grade UI/UX and one-year update support included by vendor
- Apple-signed distribution infrastructure and marketing
- Customer support and refund handling
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches Swiftship Previews, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
