reveille alternatives
2 open-source projects that already do this job. Free to use - not free to run, which is what the numbers on the right are for.
The projects
vicolo-dev/chronoA modern and powerful clock, alarms, timer and stopwatch app for Android; demonstrates open-source alarm app foundations.Open on GitHub ↗BlackyHawky/ClockCustomizable, privacy‑first, open-source clock app inspired by AOSP Clock; usable as prior art for core alarm scheduling and UI.Open on GitHub ↗
What you give up either way
- Real-time camera-based push-up / pose-detection skeleton overlay (ML model + on-device inference)
- Advanced anti-cheat checks that re-verify physical state after mission completion with remote analytics
- Polished animations, localized content in 6 languages, and continued App Store polish and updates
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches reveille, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
