What you give up either way
- Commercial EUR-Lex integration and its real-time 'see which rules changed today' functionality
- Industry-specific mappings (e.g., Standards Mapping to ICAO/EUROCAE/RTCA) curated by the vendor
- Audit-ready product polish, UIs for traceable permanent links, and vendor support/SLAs
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches Aviation.Bot, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
