Writing and content
AI Humanizer alternatives
2 open-source projects that already do this job. Free to use - not free to run, which is what the numbers on the right are for.
The projects
avoid-ai-writingAudits and rewrites content to remove AI writing patterns; can be used to implement detector-evasion rewriting.Open on GitHub ↗obsidian-textgenerator-pluginText generation plugin for Obsidian supporting multiple AI providers; demonstrates integrating LLMs into an editor workflow.Open on GitHub ↗
What you give up either way
- Scale, reliability and polished UI of the public site
- Any proprietary model or tuned prompts the vendor uses
- Claims-backed detector test results (the site’s claimed 0% detection) and marketing trust
- Free/no-login distribution and any usage policies or abuse mitigation built into the public service
An open-source project doing the core job proves a replacement is possible. It does not prove it matches AI Humanizer, and it does not prove anyone has run it for a month. How we decide.
